She's Here!

Elisha Abigail was born on December 17th at 2:49 a.m. She was 8 lbs. 1 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long. Contractions were about 5 minutes apart at 7 p.m. and we arrived at the hospital shortly before 11 p.m. God really blessed us with a pretty easy, natural labor. We were just a little concerned because Elisha's heart rate dropped drastically with every hard contraction. The midwife and nurse kept a close eye on us, but everything went very smoothly.

Nana brought Micah to the hospital later that morning and he instantly fell in love. He wanted to hold Elisha and kiss her. It was so precious! I've been asking the Lord for him to enjoy being a big brother. I never dreamed he'd love her the moment he laid eyes on her. What a blessing!
We got to leave the hospital on the 18th around 2 p.m. to go home and finally get some sleep!

Micah's Waiting

Micah is waiting for his little sister to arrive. Don't worry Elisha, he's testing out all your toys , your crib and your car seat for you. He's already taking his role as big brother quite seriously. When are you coming to meet us?
